About the Center

Mission
To safeguard the ecologic and economic resiliency of grazing land resources and ranching operations in Texas and beyond.
Vision
To serve as a national and international leader in producer-directed, applied grazing land and ranch management research, outreach and industry engagement.
Howdy and Welcome.
The Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management is dedicated to providing critical research-based tools and resources to land managers and producers. We accomplish this through our strategic partnerships across all of Texas A&M AgriLife, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, as well as state and federal agencies and non-governmental organizations.
After years of strategic planning guided by expert stakeholders across the state, the Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management is thrilled to have our boots on the ground and our team in the field conducting research, building relationships and serving the producers of Texas.
As we move forward, the Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management will provide a framework to bring together the breadth of expertise within the Texas A&M system to address current, on-the-ground issues facing producers, as well as industry-level challenges that impact grazing lands and ranch enterprises in Texas and beyond.
This is an exciting time for those of us in the fields of livestock production and grazing lands management. Together, we can advance resource stewardship, boost economic resiliency and improve the health of Texans through sustainable food systems. We are excited to have you join us in advancing this mission.
