Katrina Turner, Masters Student

Katrina Turner is pursuing an M.S. degree in Animal Science under Dr. Jacquelyn Prestegaard and Dr. Jeff Goodwin. She joined the CGRM team to work on the Resilient Ranch Network Project: Defining Metrics that Matter. This project is an applied, community-engaged research initiative designed to understand where ranch-level operational realities and corporate sustainability expectations align or diverge. This project seeks to bridge that gap by generating actionable “Metrics that Matter” grounded in real-world decision contexts, ultimately aiming to foster industry-wide pathways that are both practically implementable for ranchers and supply-chain partners.

Turner holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science and Industry from Kansas State University.
