Emily “Alex” Keasler, Masters Student

Emily “Alex” Keasler is pursuing an M.S degree in Agriculture Leadership, Education & Communication under Dr. Landaverde and Dr. Jeff Goodwin. Alex joined the CGRM team to assist on a program evaluation for the CARE- certification, a regenerative farming certification for beef producers, created by Where Food Comes From (WFCF).

This project evaluation aims to explore the perceived benefits of a CARE certification for beef producers, along with how to improve the certification process from both a producer and auditor perspective.

Alex Keasler holds a B.S. degree in Agronomy from the University of Maryland and is a returned Peace Corps volunteer who spent 27 months in rural Madagascar.
